Re: question from a newbie podcaster to be :)

Well I have to say it is indeed hard work and yes without a co host its tough talking for any length of time. Even with a script I am stumbling over words I suggest a SubZero team up~! What say you, Mr. Subzero? Will that bring you out of semi-retirement? If I was even remotely close to you guys I ...

Re: C64 Walkabout Podcast (now out with #6)

*makes notes of all Jan's advice* on my first go I thought "yeah that sounds okay, bit stumbly occasionaly but alright" , then got the missus to listen and she gave me a list of things to sort! You should co-host with Subbie (oops, SubZero) some day since you are both in England. We were ...

Re: New Aqua Song - Mentioning Commodore 64

I was late to the party as well but saw Infamous post the vid on Facebook and had to blog on it with embedded video: http://c64walkabout.com/2009/09/02/back ... re-64.aspx

Re: question from a newbie podcaster to be :)

Good luck Khisanth. My podcasts usually include some kind of remix or sid music but are more focused on C64 emulation how-to's, C64 gaming history, specific old games, and talkie stuff. If you can find a co-host in your time zone I think that would be a great idea if you plan to talk much, because I...

Re: Last Ninja 2 - Sub-tune 12 (Shatner's Bassoon Mix)

Good stuff - the only part I didn't enjoy was the chintzy sounding flute at about 2:30 -- seemed like a high pitch guitar would have worked better there. Oh, and gratz on being the first remixer since the break at RKO to post a Last Ninja remix! :P It is the 176th tune up at RKO to feature the words...

Re: C64 Walkabout Podcast (now out with #5)

This one is not the usual --- it's actually an audio book of my own original fiction with C64Audio.com background music, thanks to Chris Abbott allowing it! :worship:

It's up! I really like the way it came out and the awesome BG music. Thanks again to Chris!

Re: Can't wait for RKO to go back into full swing!

I came late to the party and spend most of the past year listening to remixes way back from 2000 up until now, so I didn't notice a drop in quality or quantity --- aside from yet-another-Last Ninja and Comic Bakery stuff I usually pass over, it all keeps me entertained...but what do I know I'm not e...

Can't wait for RKO to go back into full swing!

Looking forward to a flood of great songs that've built up since 6/30.

Maybe some surprises!

Cheers to remixers who've been working on stuff during the break.

Re: Which TV favourites should have graced the 64?

V! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_%281984_TV_series%29 Actually, there HAS been a game on the C64 about V, and it wasn't even half bad, iirc ! ( Entry on Lemon64 ) Cool! I did a search for "V" on GB64 before posting but didn't return this hit. I'll have to check it out -- great fodder for...
