I has made SIDz

Post by LMan »

Hey all,

a quick update on what I've been up to recently. I went back to the roots and took up SID composing, which turns out to be lots of fun. There are excellent tools out there like CheeseCutter, SID-Wizard or GoatTracker that help with the task. In case you never have, I encourage you to try!

My works can be found here:

Cheers
Markus

There are mp3s for each, they are recorded from SIDPlay, but sound the way I intend them to sound:

(moved to top of thread)

They sound good on a real c64 with 8580 too.

Wow, these sound great. Very impressive sound, can hardly believe the humble SID is behind these.

Thanks :)

My track is only x1 but have tryed more speed but it takes time and practise and alot of work to creat sounds with high x :)

I guess you can creat some amazing sounds with really high x :)

Care to share your sounds or a screen shot of a sound? :)
I love the snare in 808 and just wonder how it's done :)

That 808 thing is technically amazing. Plus you're sounding totally MoN...
