Only costs a tenner but can you believe even I'm short now? Here's the email I received about the update, which also announces the discount for those who read it.

Finally, an update for the Dulcitone 1884 !

Dulcitone 1884²
Hello.

This is the instrument that got this whole thing started for me.

Pretty much all of you on this list already own her, so I'm really pleased, and not a little proud ( because frankly she sounds amazing ), to offer you a free upgrade to this new version.
The work I've put into this has been something of a turning point and marks a slightly new direction for Sound-Dust and the instruments I produce.

Anyways, more of that later.
Firstly, here is the download link...

The new features include:

• 24 new dulcitone presets that take advantage of the new 3 pages of scripting.
• 4 octave architecture with control of volume, pan, adsr and delay per octave group.
• Note on and note off "thump".
• 69 specially made convolution reverb impulses from real spaces, expensive hardware, and some less obvious sources.
• Round robin sample swapping for extra realism.
• Midi timing jitter for even more realism.
• Some lovely pictures of the instrument herself.
• There's even an instruction manual !

This version is built in Kontakt 4.2.4 so is fully compatible with all versions of Kontakt 5 and uses the set of samples you already have. Just pop the new files next to your original samples.

I still have to make new demo tracks, update the website and ramble on in a video for this, but these will be on the way soon. I just wanted to get this out there to previous customers before I do the full launch next week.

Because of the extra complexity in scripting and GUI design Dulcitone 1884² will go up in price ( quite probably to £25 ) but as ever, if you are reading this email you are entitled to the usual customer discount price of £10.

The future also holds some great new instruments too, as well as eventual updates for all of the previous sample sets to this format.

I'd like to thank my very patient and helpful beta testers, especially the extremely brilliant Marcio Doctor , without whom.....

Thanks very much.

When you consider the quality and uniqueness of the sample packs, the prices are very reasonable. Very often you're used to cheap magazine samples sounding rather like the better sets for many times the cost.
