A few Music Master softsynths for the Commodore 64

Post by Commie_User »

I wanted to find an existing copy of my software tape online and encountered other SID titles under the same name.

Pokefinder gave me a few but most were of the same software or were broken.

Screenshot 1's software: ftp://ftp.scs-trc.net/pub/c64/Tools/Mus ... Master.zip (bit sluggish though.)

Screenshot 2 and 3: ftp://n2dvm.com/Commodore/Collections/w ... master.d64

But I still didn't find the right backup, so here is my own copy: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/michael.br ... MASTER.TAP

(Note the odd addition of a Commodore PET on the cover painting.)

CHORDS:

Keys 1 - 3 determine the number and combination of simultaneous voices. To play three-note chords do this:

1. Select a voice solo (only one highlighted).
2. Hit a key for the note.
3. Switch voice off and move to the next.
4. Repeat with last and hit space.

Bit pointless that because you only get the three-note chord when hitting Space. But you can have three-voice notes by toggling all the voices on at once. There are also plenty of effects.
