Hey Daxx, the image looks great!!!!!. Nice shading, and nice addition of the steelwork to the logo...... My only comment would be that it feels a little..er.. 'flat'? More like a cut out than a true logo if that makes any sense. The steel has depth, definite edges and that looks good, maybe drop a few strong highlights into the green areas to pop them at the corners ( like the Amiga logo ). Just my take pal.. but that aside, the little bits you've added make a world of difference

Oh quite right too.. I was thinking highlights that keep the material sharp/hard maybe something along the lines of this, keep the underlying material, just bring it into the 3d to match the steelwork you spent time on making look 3d. Keep at it pal.. Looking cool!

gloss highlights won't work for me... the logo should look dirty and not like a 3D HDRI mapped Rendering. Its all hand painted... :)

Great logo work.. I love it.

If you have Photoshop C2 and onwards, you can add a layer style with embossing settings now if you tweak it right, you can get some depth without having that plasticy look.

If you want I can show you an example when I get home later this evening.

Yep with you on that one, saw the need for dirty down image style but just sent the image as an example of raising the edges..

But now it's done, damn straight it looks good.!!!! what's the background going to look like?? or will it be like the Amiga version, dropped onto the parallax scrolling backdrop? keep us up to date on this one..

The background is at work by Sonica from UK! He will redraw the Beast of the original Title Screen... I am not that good in drawing Charakter & Faces.
