I emailed my database about it, but the URL for the CD on C64Audio.com is http://www.c64audio.com/productInfo.php?cat=PPOT3

I'll be making the nice FLAC and MP3 packs available on the 12th for all CD customers.

This album is worth it just for "The Man with the Gun". :D
Would be nice to have an option for "digital only", even if the price was the same.
Check out my website.

We've received a warm welcome on this new album, seems like Chris' customers like it too. Please support him (and us, hell yeah) and get it at c64audio.com!

We've added a HOME COMPUTER entry under our press section if you want to get a hires version of the cover - please share this at your own preference, no, push it to everybody together with the link to c64audio.com! :)

I bought it as soon as Chris had it on his site, just like the other C64 CDs. Listening to the first CD (well, FLAC - the CDs will take some time to arrive) right now. Unfortunately, it's mostly a "miss" for me - I just can't stand music with singing in it, and here at least half of the tracks are songs. The others (e.g. Gods or Lightforce) are very good, but I will need to burn a CDR with all songs removed before I can enjoy the CDs. At least I have that option, unlike Remix64: Syntax Era!

The second CD is a lot better, IMHO. I am looking forward to having a free weekend available for a detailed listen.

Don't know what to say about these kinds of idiosyncrasies. We once got a review of LOADING READY RUN in the lines of "I hated the c64s sound and this record does not remedy that! Crap album!" What can I say, other than "sorry to hear that you cannot stand remixes with singing?"

Good to hear that cd A is more like it :)

Well, I'm loving it so far (only been spinning disc 1 in the car) and I think with every release you have to give time to become accustomed to the tracks. Personally I love the vocal tracks and snappy lyrics and also the great combo of C64 SID mixed with real instruments (e..g the Ghosts n Goblins 'drum' solo mid way through just puts a huge smile on my face!). Well done boys !

Listening now, great stuff guys. WELL DONE.

(nice to appear on a CD without actually having to do any work btw, lol)

Some of the tracks really work with lyrics (see below), others not so much imo. I was loving the Lightforce remix until the words came in. I think it would be better without them, but that's just my view. It's still a great remix mind you.

Yeah, it's definitely a kickass way to begin...

That's how I felt about Ghosts'n Goblins. Awesome version of the rendition the lads have been perfecting over the years - and then halfway in, the vocals kicked in and spoiled it for me. Would love to hear an instrumental version.

That being said, Future Knight also works VERY well with vocals. And I didn't mind the vocals on Lightforce at all - possibly because they're so heavily vocoded that they become part of the melody.

I just wish I could say the same for Formula 1 Simulator and Human Race.

Man with the gun is great - but for me the "Buy this album NOW" track is How to Waste This Day. That one totally should have gone on to represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest. :D
