No, Chris, really, I say thank you for all what you and the SID remix scene done for SID music!

And, for me.

For a full picture, I must add that I was in a deep creativity crisis in the late few years. My rock band projects worked, albums were released so I'm not crying or something - but as a composer, I started to lose grip and joy with music. I became less and less motivated, fire was gone.

So came that exactly one year ago in a quite bitter mood I wanted to prepare a 20th anniversary release, based on old music, "back in the time" when I was motivated and hungry for composing. I found my long-lost SID archives and my real roots, so the story rolled on. Check the info file for a full picture.

Listening to the fine remixes of this great remix scene fully recharged my music engines. I even re-started to compose SID music 8)

Also, there I found so many great people: Chris, Hermit, Leon, iAN, Laxity, Reyn, and so many brilliant fellow remixers and old C64 sceners...

Thank you for all. All of you. :worship:

Regards,

Mikk (NP)

BTW if you have any comment on the album, any question or anything to add - feel free to do it here, this is the official thread :)

I got completely hooked on your Robocop remix a couple of weeks ago. So when I got the news that you'd released an album this morning, it went straight into the shopping basket, without me even checking the previews. Brilliant marketing! :)

Oh, and mad props to you for including a Laser Squad tribute track. And mad props in general for doing something that's (unfortunately) become increasingly rare these days - reinventing the way C64 remixes are done.

Forgot to mention: If you want to increase the marketing reach a bit, send me a 327x70 banner and I'll slap it on RKO. :)

Jan - Er... Don't really know what to say :) Thanks for the positive comment and the support! I think, it has already been re-invented by Chris, you, Reyn, Slaygon, Makke and all the others who form this great community and influenced me to start this project. It's just my take on it ;)

Chris - Greeeat :)

Mayhem - Man, I'm glad you like it :)
