I like it, but make the menu font plain instead of italic. Nice with a real Amiga picture. :)

You know, feel free to update the look of the site. Since it's valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS only, just save the source of the page, save the file http://amigaremix.com/skins/default.css and alter it all. :) The site is fully skinnable, so just have a look at http://amigaremix.com/skin/0ldsk00l to get the oldfashioned feeling (using http://amigaremix.com/skins/0ldsk00l.css) and to get a raw look at the XHTML just use http://amigaremix.com/skin/new :)

Atm there's not a cookie-setting option of the skin, but if someone comes up with any new skins, I'll gladly add that as well.

nice idea & cool lighting effect !
only one thing you could change: the text "Amiga" is too dark in the bottom half. i would lighten up the text or the bg to have some contrast there.

2 Ziphoid: can everyone play around with the files you mentioned ? if yes, where do i put the graphics i want to implement ? Oh ! That´s some cool ava you´ve got there :D really ! Looks like one of the first colour photos...way back...or is it a picture of a very old driving license you still use ? Nevermind....it´s an eye catcher - that´s for sure.

Feel free to twiddle around as much as you like. Put the images temporary some place and if we decide to use what you've come up with, I'll put them on the server itself. There are a lot of things that'll change with the site, though, but I don't have the time to finish right now due to creating a completely new site for SceneSat...

...and yes, it's from an old ID-card... I think that image was shot in -87 so it was a while back. ;)

Also, btw, the jurors have started to do their thang so now I'll be able to release quite a few more tracks from the AmigaRemix queue very soon.
