Remake suggestion: Netherworld

Hi,
I love those remakes, and I miss and I wonder why nobody did yet, a remix of the Netherworld (game, not movie...) title soundtrack. The best version, in my ears was the Atari-ST chiptune (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__rXBCdP2_w). The game image is here http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st ... 10071.html and the full tune runs in every emulator. The Amiga version was also nice and reasonably similar. The other versions (C64, Amstrad, Sinclair) had other soundtracks and were not good. But the Atari ST version is definitely worth a remake.

That would be so great :)

PS: For easier checking the tune out, I cutted it out from the emulator and uploaded it here (hope that works): http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fi ... 8489965059

I'm surprised too, but it's one of those tunes that's so complete by itself it doesn't really inspire anyone else to pour anything in...

Why not do it yourself?

You'll come across great Kontakt guitar, orchestral or drum packs inside magazines, given patience, while the SID2MIDI applet can make quick work of half the conversions with no real extra work.

Goddammit, just Google for a bunch of good free stuff, plus the free Kontakt player.

Look at my Laurel And Hardy and Knight Rider music work. This turned out quite good, with packs only getting better: https://www.facebook.com/groups/commodo ... 008518496/

Thunder roars. A rainstorm starts. The drums kick in...
