I succesfully got my old C64 working again, tho today i did blew up its fuse

while changing joystick from port 1 to port 2. With little help of copperwire replacing fuse (yeah i know, that isnt something u should do

) it did start up again So I guess no damage to the system did occur.
Anyway, my success with c64 has got me intrested in resurrecting my old Amiga 500 supercomputer

. Only thing that i am now missing is working diskdrive. So could somebody please tell me that, does Amiga1200-V95MB internal diskdrive work in A500

I just want to be sure that it really is DD diskdrive, before i buy one.

The standard Amiga 1200 diskdrive is a DD.
Lookee here:
http://www.vesalia.de/e_a1200.htm
You specified a V95MB-drive; sadly I don't know this type.
Try to get information from Vesalia:
General information:
info@vesalia.de
Technical information:
support@vesalia.de
They were helpful people in the past and understand english pretty well.
Good luck!
Remember, when you successfully resurrected your Amiga 500, don't feed it raw disks after midnight...

I'd like to resurrect my Amiga 2000HD.
The RLL/MFM Hard Drive is no longer in working condition. I couldnt get a hold of an IDE Controller but I got an 8-UP Board which I think has an SCSI Controller on it.
Has there been any new development on IDE Drives for the Amiga 2000?

Thanks Vosla for help. I went and bought Chinon FB-354 drive, which works like a dream. Now i only have to find where i have stashed most of my DD-disk collection.
And Vosla dont worry, i wont feed it raw disks after midnight. I promise...
