Ickle mini meet....

Me, Waz, Tas and Tomsk had a few days of fun in sunny Manchester over the weekend... the results can be found here and by clicking on the "64nication" link in the top left....

I downloaded the zip file and was looking and having a great laugh at the photos... there is one near the end that looked like on of the guys from Bee Gees...ummm Robin Gibb I think is he's name??

Yes, we couldn't believe it when we were in Topkapi (kebab shop close by to my house) and there he was ordering a doner! I resisted to say that he needed it to be Staying Alive.. and as it was Saturday night whether he had Saturday Night Fever lol..

Just thinking, there were some other classic moments that I can mention:

* C64 singing of Deflektor walking down St Peter's Square, complete with "Dayo" bits ;)
* Playing SID tunes by drumming on the table in the Lass O'Gowrie after the footy
* Tas's novel way of completing the slalom in World Games by missing lots of gates and just getting to the finish. It did earn him silver though so there was value in it.
* The utterly insane art car parade in Albert Square, complete with that odd milk float and also a mini customised to the hilt with all sorts of weird art on it

and probably plenty more classic moments...

Finally managed to get logged into these boards after trying for weeks!

Anyway, a great couple of days. Always good fun when our little group gets together. Seriously looking forward to the next time. And those pics dan :hysterical:
