Aye, that'll be that bloke who talks bollocks again then. Suffice to say that I will be "doing something" to reference the fact that it's Hallowe'en, of course. Something sensible, no doubt(*).

But, to be honest making a three-hour show with just Hallowe'en-related songs will be stretching it, scraping the barrel and other related quips.

I'm willing to entertain the thoughts for a playlist of course, but let's not think about 15 different versions of Cauldron and Cauldron II eh? ;)

...from THREE years ago?! I'm flattered that you think my archive is THAT good, but alas... ;)

I think you can come up with a few more, I dont think you can fill three hours but you can certainly drop a song or two here and there.:)

Ghost and Goblins.
Forbidden Forest
Chiller
Ghost Busters

Just name a few :)

I did a special Halloween remix of Forbidden Forest ages ago: it had a comic Church Organ thing before melting into Pete Connelly's FF from BIT 2.

Now that I think of it, Makkes' Capripholian Waltz is pretty Halloween:ish

Boz ... Thanks

I think the Rupert remix I was thinking of was done by Richard Westall?

BTW Pumpkin man is a given as is Rastan...

It's a shame no one's done a C64 tune on a Theremin....

The one other tune I was considering suggesting for a playlist was :
the Barry Leitch remix of Zombie Zombie, http://www.sandywhite.co.uk/fun/music/index.aspx
(However inclusion of it would need to be cleared with the site composer concerned etc...)

I'm a great halloween fan! ... I just HAVE to listen to such a show... as well as I'm a great fan of horror related stuff :duh: ...

Now that I think of it... have you ever tried making competitions in the remix scene? I'm thinking of maybe advertising such an event (as well as others) so far in time, that remixers could get a chance at remixing in a special style? ... have there been any such events happening at the scene, and have they not had enough interrest or?

Just think it would be nice to have a score of Halloween, Christmas etc. tunes to play around special hollydays...

I'd do a halloween special... if I had the time :)

Allright! ... SID chosen  ... and you'll never guess :P ... it's an 1985 game I can say... I actually even bought the game back then in the old Piracy-glory-days... and actually played the game... a rather mysterious and spellbinding title.... I remember it quite clearly

...and now off to find those samples of zombies, mummies, screams and sinister sounding organs... hehe! ... I feel ... erm... despicable! :duh:

Hmm... if you had said 1984... I would have guessed "Chiller".

My "Monty warlock chills at arkanoid" remix is kind of spooky with the spooky laughter and stuff in it so that might be good with a halloweenshow? ;)

No? Oh well.... ;)

Looking forward to finding out what you've done though...!

Boz: ... nope! ... but I'll give a little hint:

The mood of the tune is more that of sadness and lonelyness rather than scary... almost giving you the feling of being entombed or something... It will have moaning zombie sounds, rattling snakes, howling ghosts and groaning mummies
