You`re very talented, no doubt about it. You should give your first "C64" Remix" a try - if ya don`t want to count this one over here as your first :) I don`t get it how the Music of "Giana Sisters" came up in your Head - you sat down and made a Track - and AFTER that you just realised "Hey, wait....it`s Giana Sisters". Made me laugh. (sry, but.....that`s kinda crazy since it`s such a "reminder" - once you`re in Love with the Giana Music,it`s stucked in your Head forever, you know what I mean?) XD

By the way; if "Giana Sisters" is totally stucked in your Head, you just can point your Finger to ANY Track that had some Giana-influence in it, and scream it out loud "DAMN, that`s taken from Giana!". Here`s a good example:

^Listen to the Keyboarder at 3:30 - XXX. a short passage only,but....well, coincidence only ? Don`t know :confusion:

Thanks for your kind comments Sarah, I have a lot of learning to do and I'm my own worst critic. I've worked on tracks 12 hours straight and trashed it in the end without saving it. :)

I do have a track in mind that I would like to be my first official C64 remix.

I dont know when I'll start on it, I'm in the middle of a move at work, so that is occupying a lot of my time.

Wow that youtube video posted does have quite the Giana Sounding keyboard from 3:30-3:46.

I barely know the feeling being totally satisfied with a Track...a Video....or whatever I`m working on...so...well, I guess I know what you mean. :D Somehow it`s a good attribute to be "your own worst critic". But sometimes it slows you down. Come to think if Chris Hülsbeck wasn`t really satisfied with his very first "Shades" Track - and he didn`t send this Track to a German C64 Magazine back in the days (he wouldn`t won the competition, would never be signed by anybody...and so on - the History would be another one)
Nowadays I prefer just to let it go. As long as I put all the effort (Love and enthusiasm) to the work, the result doesn`t need to satisfy me. I just let it go and let others do the Judge/the critic.
And, of course, I prefer to be one of the worst critic on RKO/Amigaremix by myself. (HELLO KATE! <3 Go and make some great Music again.......u]without[/u] scawtish Vocals, will ya? :) )
