You can choose which C64 game the C64 orchestra has to play
Dear C64 orchestra fan, We hope you enjoyed the looks of RUN 10 as well as the tunes on the cd. As you will know this is only a small selection of the vast amount of tunes available!
For the coming live shows we want to broaden our repertoire with new tunes and we are looking for your help with picking the nicest.
To make life a little easier for us we asked Rob Hubbard and Jeroen Tel to nominate a couple of games.
C64 game tunes nominated by Jeroen Tel are:
1. Cybernoid 1
2. Poseidon: Planet Eleven (Title tune)
3. Rubicon (Title tune)
C64 game tunes nominated by Rob Hubbard are:
Spellbound
Nemesis the warlock
Rasputin
Kentilla
Dragons Lair
Auf Wiedersehen Monty
So help us by mailing your most favourite selection and please limit your choice to 3!
We also want to know which C64 game tune of other composers we definitely have to play in the future.
Feel free to forward this question to your friends and anyone who will have an opinion on this quest for the best C64 game music.
Send an email to C64orchestra@ONinternet.nl
Regards

ROTY 2007 voting extended
The ROTY votings 2007 have been extended until 27th January 2008. There have been glitches in the engine that prevented voting for moog from the main voting page, and did not show BeeZerk as a newcomer.
Due to an error in the Remix64 / c64Audio.com interface Reyn Ouwehand's album "The Blithe, The Blend & The Bizarre" was not available for voting until now.
If you liked their tunes, give em a chance. Vote for them!

Note: You can already vote for ROTY 2008 in the voting box of 2008 releases.

More Amiga remixes
So, now there are two easier ways to get your Amiga remix fix than before. FIrst up, if you're a torrent fan, go grab the torrent of all tracks from the server. Thanx to the_JinX of the SLAY Radio staff for that one. Second, you can now use a small bundle tool over at AmigaRemix.com to bundle up to 40 tracks in one zip-file and download them all in one go.If you haven't already grabbed the tracks from the site, now is the time, since there are quite a few gems to be found.
Also, don't miss the fact that there is an RSS-feed telling about all new releases as well.
Today is a historic day...
...because BOTH the RKO and AmigaRemix queues are totally empty. RKO has pushed out quite a lot of remixes for the last couple of weeks and today, about 50 remixes got released at AmigaRemix.com.
New uploads have been disabled on RKO since yesterday, to give both Jan and his trusy band of jurors a well-deserved break. Today AmigaRemix followed suit, for much the same reasons. See you on the flip-side. =)
