Well, what can i say? I was there from the start on. The start of the AMIGA 500, i still call my own. From the beginning on, not the games, not the graphics fascinated me most, it was the music.
A game can be nearly anplayable (Shadow of the Beast), no matter, if the music got me. A game can be great (Turrican) but it is greater with it`s music. Yes, i played and play many Amiga Games over the Years, but each game searching for great music.
At first Chris Hülsbeck and Jochen Hippel were my heroes, but then, then Shadow of the Beast (1-3) and Agony (Title Theme) took place and i`ve got my all time Favourits. the day i found this side, it was like finding treasure for me, because of all the great mixes. I have the greatest Respect for all of the peolple doing such music.
As for me, i can`t play an instrument, know nothing about how to mix and how it must sound. So, i hear a track and let my ears take the decision. So please don`t wonder if i give a lonely good Smiley, like i did with SWORD OF SODAN from pinozulpo. Maybe it is bad done like most said, but i like that version and it is still the ONLY version of SWORD OF SODAN. Also i like pinozulpos style and i have to thank pinozulpo for doing such a great job with remixing the COMPLETE Shadow of the Beast Series. I still here it very often.
I have many favourite Remixer here like gibs, daXX, CZ Tunes and others. You all do a great job with giving us so much joy with your work, your time and your passion.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
