Hi all, What can a lifelong gamer and music addict say that you haven't read 10.000+ times...? I got the same inspiration of C64 gaming and AWESOME music that keep you all coming back here. Listening to C64, I was a charmed kid and I wanted to find out the secrets of making C64 music and learning to play the guitar. Programming is not my strenght so I used editors (FuCo and GMC). My first songs in 1988 were simple test tunes and guitar practice tracks, then I made a couple of covers. Later I met some confident guys in the secondary school who claimed to be crackers and coders and asked me to write tiny intro tunes. I made approximately two dosens of C64 songs but I would be pretty surprised if you heard any. I had pretty bad luck with finding a home for them. After a consisitent line of failed projects, in 1994 I boxed my music disks and concentrated on band practice and guitar playing. In the following 15 years I got my degree and became a touring guitarist and a sound tech, running my own project studio. My old SIDs rested in the box until March of 2009 when I started a SID remix album and as a side-effect I archived my old noise and sent to HVSC. My fav composers: Martin Galway, Rob Hubbard, Ben Daglish, Richard Joseph, Matt Gray, Johannes Bjerregaard, Reyn Ouwehand, YIP, Tim Follin, Laxity My fav remixers: Reyn, Machinae Supremacy, Westerling, Romeo Knight, Puffy64, Juha Kaunisto, Visa Röster |
