Galway Remixed is now "Galway Repressed". In other news, Remix64 vol 1 is also near to a repress, as is Karma64 which will become "Karma Special Edition Perhaps-a-Doobie Director's Cut". Which presumably means putting it in a proper case this time.

| Nexus 6581 vol 2 surprise launch at Brighton | 17/08/2003 |

Reyn Ouwehand has sprung a BIT Live surprise again, following last year's "Galway Remixed". This time, it's Nexus 6581 volume 2: but it's only a four track EP this time. Tracks on it are: Bombo (not the Egyptian one!), Thanatos, Tiger Mission and Pimple Sqeezer 6. These last two are by Johannes Bjerregaard, Reyn's hero :)
The EP will be available at discount price at BIT Live, and will retail for £3.99. |

Within the profiles of the musicians on the remix64 v2 CD page it's possible to download other tracks not associated with the Remix64 v2 CD but from the musicians that are participating on the CD. Currently there is no track from Carl Larsson but I will endeavour to rectify that as soon as possible.

Issue 9 of GamesTM magazine features a rather nice article about the C64 Remix CD scene, and features little reviews of each CD. For instance Remix64 gets "A great idea and one which is flawlessly realised", and Nexus 6581 gets "at £4.99 this is one CD that no retro game music fan should be without". A great article with some nice pics, and er... a picture of me. Oh well, it can't all be good!

The Offficial Website and home of Volume 2 has opened today. Though the CD is not available to buy as yet it's still possible to pay the site a visit and browse through it.

The worldwide award winning sample library for orchestral works is produced by the Austrian VSL team. Markus Schneider, who is also engaged in the Remix 64 Volume 2 CD, was chosen by VSL to release a demo for their website."
