Listen:

A experiment using piano as the main instrument. I've also used a little drum-set, and a legato-string to "spice it up". Made in Fruityloops 8, using Purity and 2 drum samples.

The experimentation part is mainly in the BPM (beats per minute), though this song doesn't really have beats, it's the speed of the song. Sometimes it goes faster, sometimes it goes very slow. (+- 108 BPM for the total song).

I like the One And Only-sid because,

it has a real nice argripperator, and i love it's sound. I thought a piano might sound as the original sid; pianos can be used for fast music aswel, you won't see that very often.

great bass-line; i also used a piano for this, but this piano sounds darker and has very much reverb.

I tried - for the first time in all my remixes it succeeded - to have the "sid"-feeling still intact. Though I've added a lot of melody-changes, to make it more plesant to listen to, instead of a loopish-like sound which might get anyoing.

Hope you'll like this one! Please give me some comments, what i can improove in this song!

Thanks for listening!

dj.mitch shouts: The sounds could be better and there is too much compression in it. But it's nice.;)
prowler shouts: Never heard this SID before, but I must say I like the original better. You need to add some new ideas to a short tune like this, jamming or something :-)
finnr shouts: Lacks a lot of mixing.
Nebdar shouts: The idea is very good and very like the piano here the background music could be clearer and smooth with some power
