Old Style (The New Way)

Olsen has really cool melodies in his tracks...i wonder what he could sound with some modern packages instead of the "C=64"
Anyway...again i remixed one of his SIDs...this time it´s "Compods Old Style". what he mean with "old style" is the arrangement i think...it was very popular to transpose a song up by one note every 8 bars. today it would not sound comfortable...so i re-arranged it a bit. But have a listen and enjoy (if you can).

@ Master Baator: Good ears you have ;) I must admit that Gigi's (older) works inspired me a lot here...and that SID was really fitting to that style (imho).

Mayhem shouts: I like this... Reminds me of something else but can't quite place it currently.
condor shouts: Nice remix... However, sound selection is not that good, half of it is, other half is pretty bad. Overall, good arrangement. Master Baator shouts: I love 90 eurodance, but Gigi D'Agostino was not my favourite, and this reminds of his style in many ways. The arrangement is very nice, but the shifts between sections are not all well done. The result sounds unfinished. Good breakbeat and base though:-)
