Story
This is what too much The Dubliners and Flogging Molly will do to you! ;)

Lyrics:
The night was cold and bitter
He was looking for an inn
When the devil shined before him
Showing off an awful grin

The demon spake "You're frozen"
And he nodded to the beast
"A fee so small" the dark one said
"Can make your life a feast"

Chorus:
Come within these walls of mine
Before the frost thee bite
Grab yourself a bottle of wine
And drink it with delight

Come within these walls of mine
Before the frost thee bite
At me table you will dine
Get yourself another pint

Well the young man said "don't bother
Soon I'll find an inn
Because your home and castle
Is built on wicked sin"

The Devil looked offended
As the offer was denied
But still he opened up the door
And invited him inside

Chorus

The demon kept on preaching
"I can make you whole"
"And all I ask of you, good sir
Is your immortal soul"

The dark one asked "Are you not tempted?"
He said "Not the least!"
For little did the devil know
the man talking was a priest

Outstanding, Makke is one of the few remixers who constantly turn out quality and original pieces.... More please
I hate Makke... He is so god damn tallented! The muic arrangement is excellent (including Morpheus's percussion) and the lyrics are just perfect!
This is exactly how Ben would have done the tune if he'd been allowed to put all manner of Jethro Tull influence into the piece. Original and also quality, keeping the spirit of the original intact.
Great fun, very enjoyable. Super dooper pooper scooper
Another standing ovation here. Makke can do everything (well, musically speaking anyway) :)
;) Quite original!
This is just great :)
Irish folk dancing ahoy, never really much liked the original but I cant help but smile whenever I hear this..
Never thought I would like an Irish folk style song, but Makke has produced a quality tune here, more please :).
This is simply amazing! Makke, it's an honour to be beaten by you!
Excellent! Makes me want to storm a local irish pub and have a keg of beer!
Such a hilarious song, that I couldn't hold myself from doing my own version of it!
Very nice :-)
OUTSTANDING! Perfect execution of Irish folk song feel, great lyrics, pretty good singing for a pub. The ending is a bit too abrupt, but other than that... OUTSTANDING!
Funny and creative... And the lyrics rock!! Congratulation Makke!
... A Celtic song? WOW!
Very good one!
Super track.. It feels like a movie! Haha
Great and original remix, but I wouldn´t mind if the vocals were louder.
Haha!! GREAT version!! Reminds me of certain mahoney tracks, too!! :-D
Wow. This is funny, not so much because the lyrics, but the style of remix is so unexpected. Good job.
Brilliant stuff again. Could have recorded some nice violin for this though!;)
Very nice, but not really my cup of gin...
Absolutely brilliant :)
Brilliant, especially the lyrics. Not sure what else to say.
One guinness please......:)
Damn good. Makke good.
Wicked!
Superb! I love it. What more can I say?
That´s how to do it.
Its nice; well composed and different, but nothing more...
Brilliant & Masterpiece!!!
Very Very Good!
Simply world class
This is damn good.... Although I like the Slaygon version allmost as much ;)
Woooow.... This is it....
Absolutely fantastic! :D
9 for excellence 1 for courage 10/10!!!!
Great God! ... This is magnificent, this is brilliant! ... By far the best remix I've heard so far! (I just LOVE this celtic stuff!)
Thumbs up!
The idea is good, but remix of the year??? Not for me.
Excellent!
OMG that's pure irish folklore!
Clever, but just missing something that completes it...
One word: GREAT!!
I can't believe I didn't vote for this tarck :D
Awesome! Great fun to listen to too. Where's my Guinness?
Irish = yessir!
Fantastic!
Gotta love the Irish sounds! Brilliant!
Not my taste.. C64?
SMASHING great
AYYYEEE!!!! :D Yikes! Me likes!
This from daglish ay... Its jovial but short and lacks depth. Hes known for great pieces, and I remember him for that. But he has his own interests, his own passions in music as a composer.... Sigh
These lyrics, these lyrics are horribly great! What a cool idea, and to pull this off! OX Great job guys!
I love what you have done with this. You have created one of the best tunes ever.
Well done!
Nice one :)
Absolutely brilliant!!!

I love a good celtic/gaelic ditty, and this one does the job well. Makke has taken a SID with promise and delivered with a somewhat original little song that I could hear being sung in a tavern or two.

I was a little disappointed with some of the transitions, and I was dying to hear an authentic fiddle in there somewhere take the main theme and do something marvelous with it; I feel the piece lacks something as a result, and the ending doesn't feel quite right, but that's just my personal take on the matter.

A good piece, to be sure
