Boz shouts:Lightwave is a difficult tune to remix to everyone's taste. A brave attempt but some poor choices of instrumentation perhaps.
Starts off a bit weird.. The beat is fine but too deep The synth could be brighter and not as quick and hard givin it more feeling.. Overall a bit bland and unfeeling.. X-formz still has the best version.
I agree Boz, the problem with Lightforce is that the original SID is so brilliant that no remix for me has nailed it yet (Stefan Poiss's is #1 IMO), this version is OK but its in a tough field, it sounds over compressed too.
Not too bad, but as pointed out before the choices of instruments could have been better, to meet this "hard to remix" song. But hey, give us revange :) and see this as constructive feedback.
prowler shouts:Good remix, but very similar to what's already out there. If you're doing this kind of "straight-forward" style you need to pick a never-remixed tune I think...:-)
LaLa shouts:High production value. I quite like that analogue feeling that oozes from this remix, the lead is especially well-done. This one definitely grows on you.
It's a difficult orignal tune to make a good version of, but this is a valid attempt. If the instruments were better, it'd have got a better mark.
