Story
I love disco, the tail of the flower power era and the bridge towards the 80s. For me Disco spells fun. Coz whereas nowadays cool is what music is supposed to be, in every sense of the word, back than it was happy. And I like happy. Coz I like to be happy, see? I'm ranting…

Once again I tried to make it sound old as the 1982 original Lime - Your love, complete with a 45rpm wobble and a Compact Cassette character. This took the better part of the time I was working on it. (I actually considered buying a tape deck just for this track) This, the claps and the horrible violins that come with the Reason Soundbanks. On the other hand, it was fun to drown almost everything in reverb. Coz that's what they did back in them days. And good for me as it perfectly masks any digital evidence in what poses to be an analog production from head to toe.

Did I mention that I love disco?

Another song to chalk up for Tron who consistently makes not only technically great tunes, but great pastiches as well. Great vibe to this track, I can't keep still!
Tron is notoriously meticulous in every detail, and while it slows his work speed to a crawl, his final releases are always absolutely brilliant.
Absolutely great. In seconds I forgot to find the original SID in the remix and started to concentrate on the work itself.
Excellent remixes... I really like you interpretation of the original - the only thing I don't like is the lead-sound which is a bit weak compared to the original filter lead :D... (02:55 the lead and chords don't fit)! ... But excellent bass work!
Funky disco remix of Cybernoid - technically excellent (sounds like something Reyn might've come up with! ) 2017 Update - Still absolutely bloody fantastic!!
Sounds like something out of the 70's, in more ways than one. Really, really nice. Only niggle is the lead vs the chords somewhere in the second half. It just doesn't sound right to me! Still an excellent tune.
Fresh & Fesch!
Unique remix of one of my favourite C64 tunes and done really well!
*sigh*... One of my favs greatly remix-a-la-funkalized!! To bad it's fading out to quickly... Want more!!! Hope the master himself will hear this awesome tune too!
Finally a Gay Disco version of Cybernoid..! Though I do not quite like the lead instrument starting at 00:48 and the tune has it's weak moments, most of it is plain genius.
This is great I love it... I love disco and its fantastic to hear a great JT track mixed this way... Top stuff Tron...
Not my cup of tea. No highs and the lead doesn't fit. Just imho ofcoz'.;-)
I think the remixer has done exactly what he says he set out to do with this. I love that Lo-Fi sound and the cassette wobble is just brilliant. What's great is that it's a fantastic remix too. I haven't stopped listening to it since I downloaded it.
Makes me wanna boogie all night long!
Could listen it several times. Great!
Interesting choice of instruments!
Original remix of the classic JT tune! Listening to this remix = instant happiness!
I like the tune's groove! Sounds like something between House and Disco, but it's great!
Vey atmospheric while maintaining the SID feeling at the same time. Surely a lot better than most of the disco stuff out there on Earth
LOL!!
This one almost sounds better than the original one. Can't stop listening to it
Love the violins at 2:40.. You nailed the 70s sound 100%
Yeah :)
Nailed the 70s vibe perfectly. The attention to detail is just great.
Truly nicely executed disco version of the great Cybernoid II theme.18.12.2014
Danceable song!

Absolutely surprisingly fresh and well-executed remix of Cybernoid II in the style of 70s disco with some modern twist to it!

The unique arrangement is what really makes this remix shine: the rhythm section, the way the round original tune and melody has been put into this square box (and it fits!). The only place where this falls apart slightly is between 2:24-3:20 where the lead and the chords are just not meshing quite well.

My only gripe: the whitenoise audible throughout the recording, especially at the very beginning and at the very end of it.

I would also recommend replacing the high-pitched leads with vocals for another mix - now, that would make it sound really 70s, I think!

All in all, fantastic effort, great results, very enjoyable!

70's Disco Space feeling here. Haha. Surprising style and works perfectly. Really well done. Who would have imagined.
