REVIEW BY digideus (17/05/2004) When I first found this site, I immediately looked for several songs which were amongst my favorites in the 80s. I was overjoyed to find someone had done a mix of Terra Cresta which is, in my opinion, one of Martin Galway's top achievements. This version takes that original idea and adds a slick and professional slant to the piece. Im still not sure about the sample used at the beginning of the song as it sounds out of place, being somewhat grating to these ears. However, that said, as soon as it kicks into the main rhythm, it flows with a tense and flowing nature. The attention to the solo section of the song is done extremely well with complete control of tempo and pace. the addition of the techno drum beat adds another dimension to the song and makes me feel it was meant to be as it fits perfectly. Its the first song I heard on here that made me want to write a review. In a word, this is a stunning piece that the author can be proud of. |

omoroca shouts: Jogeir Liljedahl has set the standard for Terra Cresta extremely high on the BIT2 album. That's why I cannot give this one any more than gray.
