REVIEW BY tamaha (06/08/2006)

The rework on Captured is outstanding (used to play the game a lot and the tune becomes a bit heavy to assimilate during loger sessions) and keeps the atmosphere as it was originally intended, without boring you when repeated. The metallic and dark sound style is also excellently treated.

Overall:

Dan shouts: Wow, before I knew it the tune and finished, flawless atmospheric piece
Tas shouts: Lovelly stuff!!!! Some really nice touches of finesse and lots of attention to finer details. Good stuff
Makke shouts: I guess this is just not my cup of java...
Waz shouts: This is really good. Tons of subtle touches (love the klang! Noise on the drums) and completely atmospheric keeping all the feel of the SID intact too. Another excellent effort from Monty.
westerling shouts: Smart arrangement and harmonics. I´m captured by this mix!
load_error shouts: I only find the drum patterns too simple, but probably is a choice.... The rest is amazing.
infamous shouts: Doesnt really seem to go anywere.. But whats here is very nice to listen too if a little on the sparse side.. Nice though.
nettuno shouts: ...
eliot shouts: A bit weired...
LMan shouts: Why oh why - why is there an 8 bit 11khz snare drum in there? Runis an otherwise very enjoyable tune.
anaconda shouts: Very ambient and really nice song. But, there is allways a but... The snare didn't fit in at all, making the drums a bit dull. First part is really good though.
ifadeo shouts: Another great remix by monty!!!
montymole shouts: Great
gibs shouts: Wonderfull.... Really! Agree with lman for the drum, especially the snare...
tamaha shouts: Total immersion! Excellent interpretation and *modernization*
omoroca shouts: The organ-like accomp sound in the background reminds me of Dr. Alban somehow - which is NOT GOOD. Technically impressive, though. But also a bit too slow and not-much-happening-in-there to keep my attention over 5:47.
