REVIEW BY gator (01/11/2005)

Meh, it was okay. Most of it reminded me of the opening theme for Escape from LA, actually. While it did effect a slow, sort of dangerous atmosphere I don't think it really took full advantage of Crowther's tune. With a lot more seriousness and perhaps an evil streak to it, this could have been a classic remix. Just average as it is tho. Sorry.

Overall:

Dan shouts: Agreed, an absolute pleasure to listen to
Tas shouts: I like this.. Reminds me of somethig but cant think what.
Makke shouts: Very relaxing track! It's not too long either, because normally this kind of music makes me lose focus after a while.
kwed shouts: Nice chilled out tune. Sort of what would happen if Robert Miles, Vangelis and Jarre sat down for a cuppa tea and some composing.
Waz shouts: Quite laid back and relaxed but very clear and easy to listen to.
bizarro shouts: I miss some frequencies - but the atmosphere is great.
eliot shouts: The new rules says, non-c64 remixes should not apply here... Someone ask JMJ
LMan shouts: Minimalism can be nice, but this is a too muddy mix for my taste.
westerling shouts: I´ve changed my mind; it´s good. BUT the melody disappears in the blip-blopping echoes and I wish it could be more dynamic. The atmosphere is there allright.
anaconda shouts: This is a well done tune. Nicely produced with close to no flaws. Flows really good. Good job!
LaLa shouts: A pretty good chill-out track, but the lead is too muddy.
c64glen shouts: What lead?
omoroca shouts: Something very special, this is! Nice analogue sound flavor!
Caboose shouts: I agree with bizarro, it lacks some frequencies. But I also liked it though.=)
