REVIEW BY DJB (26/07/2007)

This is the first time that someone has covreed one of my tunes, and I LOVE IT!!! I knew that this would sound nice after reading the comments, but its absolutely awsome. I love the drum change too, a little more upbeat than what I originally wrote the song to be, but a nice change. I can take or leave the quotes through it, it does add that little extra which is good. Hopefully I can come across a few more of my tunes remixed in the future. :-)

Overall:

Waz shouts: Nice change of tack for Dafunk this, with some lovely acoustic instruments flowing together nicely to give the tune an emotional feel. Just needs to cut out the use of the speech samples to make it better, but nonetheless another solid effort from Dafunk
Skitz shouts: Touch of class from Dafunk again but doesn't quite warrant an outstanding as for a chill-out tune the drums are way too in your face!! Still, the soundbites fomr Shawshank Redemption are a nice touch!
Chris Abbott shouts: Very good, and well performed, but feels like a backing track without the vocals.
LMan shouts: Well done again!
Makke shouts: Dafunk always delivers quality! Great stuff this! And being a fan of Morgan Freemen, I like the quote as well.;)
Ziphoid shouts: It sure is quite tiny, but really nice. The speech is a great touch. It could have had some more lead-thingy in my taste, but nevertheless it's really nice.
infamous shouts: Really lovely sounding tune.. Rapidly becoming one of my favorite remixers
soundtrix shouts: Gorgeous - it tickles my heart.
plastikbag shouts: Wow! Dafunk is really pumping out the quality stuff this year. I'm impressed.
gibs shouts: Realy enjoyed this tune heard for the 1st time....
chabee shouts: Great!
Dan shouts: Love this, not sure using the Seven quote twice was necessary, not enough time gap between them or epicness to have the wanted effect
dr_duke shouts: Very good track. That quote is also very nice. Keep your way, Dafunk!
weasel shouts: First minute is _very_ promising in style and atmosphere. It goes down a bit after that and catches up again in the second half... Pretty weird though. ;-) Anyways... Like it. It's good, indeed. The samples in the beginning could have been left out thoug
eliot shouts: The drums do not fit to the rest, so vote reduced to yellow
dumper shouts: It all fits together very nicely. A pleasure to listen to.
shezzor shouts: Absoultely lovely, excellent chill out tune with a little touch of Shawshank! Good stuff Dafunk.
japster shouts: Fantastic track! -absolutely love the guitar and string work - took a while to get used to the drums and scratching kicking in after the (great! ) chilled start, but now find looking forward to that part too ;-) HIGHLY recommend for a quick chillout ses
condor shouts: I cannot give you red one because of drums. Sorry mate :)
exo shouts: Almost red, just feels somewhat like it misses a layer.
anaconda shouts: Another solid tune.
ethan_thorn shouts: I really like this something to relax to.
mfe shouts: Very nicely done, but I don't much care for random quotes in music.
omoroca shouts: I agree with both parts. And I agree that this one is really really good.
studentdeluxe shouts: Really, really nice and beautifull music.
PhunkyData shouts: Earned itself a place in my personal Top list. I deeply feel for this tune... Very moody with a driving groove. Arrangement A+
