Proteus (TV series version)

This song dates back to 2000.
This is a short tune used to test an orchestral setup for the Roland JV1080.
It is a stock JV1080 without the orchestral expansion packs.
However all patches were custom programmed to have a proportional/differential control scheme. The MIDI-velocity controls attack hardness while the expression slider controls volume.
Done with JazzWin32 midi software and recorded from the Synth to the HDD, then + reverb, eq and limiting.
And yes, it was a work in progress, but I since I have no longer the synth nor the midi files, the only thing I can do is upload it to RKO

Makke shouts: I can't help but like this "free enterpitation". The sound is of course not up to date, the remix being six years old and all, but I still enjoy it. Too bad it's so short. Waz shouts: Did someone say American mini-series? This sort of soundtrack would fit that perfectly and it has a nice flow and feel while keeping bits of Warhawk intact. Nice harmonic variation from the original. With better instruments, this could get an "Outstanding" from me. anaconda shouts: Typical ending of an american movie. A bit off at the end, but gets plus for the originality.
