This song was made quite some time ago, and I had some break. But recently I picked up making music again, so I finished this song. Previously it had totally different drums, which were "for-to-the-floor", as I was told, ie. dance drums. That gave it some commercial edge, so I replaced it with the current drum rhythm.
About the "Phaser":
I guess you mean the acid-type sound that appears later in the song.
This is actually not a phaser, but a distortion filter on a sawtooth, controlled by a global LFO. This adds a nice random effect: every time it plays, the drive curve sounds different because the LFO frequency does not match the song speed.
