Ahhh, this takes me back. I can remember the first time I heard this remix and it blew BOTH my socks off! If memory serves this was done around the era of Cher and her deliberately-wonky auto-tuned lyrics (which I actually rather liked) so to hear that effect in a C64 remix was definitely inspired. Hats off to Njoy for that one!

This remix, to me, was a defining moment in the C64 remix scene. It was one of the first commercial-sounding remixes to have vocals applied to it and it worked brilliantly - enhancing an already funky remix of the tune. It definitely pushed the envelope as far as C64 remixes were concerned and paved the way for an influx of high quality sounding tracks with vocals that were to follow. *Genius*

Well.. I hope I won't offend the arranger (and singer) too much by saying this is a bit on the bad side IMO.

It starts out with some really bad female vocals, overly processed with auto-tuning - but even the auto-tuning couldn't fix the problems. Doing vocals is a good idea but then the quality should be better than this technically speaking.

The beat is very reminiscent of a party keyboard's demo drums, and the whole thing is a rather messy affair sprinkled with bleeps and blops of the original song (which infact was a remix itself).

It reminds me slightly of a demo song from a Casio keyboard back in 1994. Sorry.

A classic energetic dance mix which maintains some choice sound elements from the SID original. The vocal section is a nice touch, creating a japanese anime feel. The original Hubbard track is still a blast (excuse the pun) and this remix puts a smile on your face which will stay there long after the track's finished
:-) !!Warning!! this track will get stuck in your head all day!

It is stupid but when I first heard this song in 2000, I was in love with the woman... who is she? Is she real? I have listened to this song... maybe 100 times, it was crazy... now 3 years have passed... and I still think that this remix is original just because N-Joy has the good idea to put a female voice... such sort of thing bring life to the song... a resurection...
