Certainly has some plus points. I like the overall tune and the pace of it. The selection of instruments is also nice and soft, except maybe for the lead synth (the simple sound that plays the main melody). The drawback of this is further amplified since it's not perfectly "in tune" with the other sounds. This is unpleasant. Lastly, I would like to mention how the track feels a little bit monotone, just a tiny bit, so it could be a good idea to trim another minute or so. With these problems solved, you'd have a simple but beautiful track. Not that I have any nostalgic feelings - that is because I never heard the original before. |
