Re: The cost of vintage synths.

Hah its funny as soon as I read the first bit of your post and seen the Youtube link, I had a feeling that it was going to be that video, it's true though, the prices are a getting a bit stupid for something that may cost half the price to get repaired. Either way, I'm a fair ways off from ever gett...

Advice on which to buy?

For the same price, I can get a Korg Prophecy, MicroKorg, or MicroKorg XL...Yeah I know you'll probably say the MicroKorg XL, but the layout seems much more minimal on it which I don't like.

Advice?

Re: Hey, reccomend me your favorite C64 titles!

Thanks, will try them out, for some reason my internet seems to be back, could have been server maintenance but can't be too sure, so if I don't post for another day or two then I might have to switch providers :( Grr hate Ireland for this sort of thing

Re: Richard Joseph

Thanks for that :)
I'm gonna do a Youtube cover of one of his tracks (I'm going to film myself play all the parts separately then have them play over each other in the video) and I'll be sure to include the links you provided to the site and donations etc.

:)

Re: Hey, reccomend me your favorite C64 titles!

Hey guys, thanks for all this, it's all appreciated, and I will spend the next week or so playing these, reading the blog, and hopefully studying the music of these games if they're good :) Sadly, however, the internet decided to mess up on me the night before last, and the whole of yesterday I've b...

Re: Hey, reccoment me your favorite C64 titles!

Heh It's mainly because I had an N64 when I was younger, and people I know now barely remember it, so I thought I'd look at other systems, and C64 has a big and good reputation :)
Hah it's good to find JMJ fans out there! :)

Re: Hey, reccoment me your favorite C64 titles!

Hi Martin, Uridium, Impossible Mission, Arkanoid, Commando, Green Beret, Wonder Boy, Mikie. Just to name a few off the top of my head. Thanks, will try them out asap :) PS. Your avatar reminds me of Jean Michel Jarre, is it a reference? Cos your name says analog, and he used analog synths at times....

Hey, reccomend me your favorite C64 titles!

Hey all, I'm new to the site, and am only 17, too young to have known the C64, and was wondering if you guys could recommend me some of its best games, must plays, and your personal favorites. :) Also, I love Richard Josephs' work, and am pretty heavy into OST's, so even an ok game with a good sound...

Re: Richard Joseph

Nearly 2 years on, I thought I'd say that he's not forgotten.
Don't get mad at me for bumping this topic >.<
I just never got to know him, and I loved his music in Croc :)

A genius from what I've seen, and really nice guy from what I've heard. :(
