Re: Matt Gray Produced Box Set

Hi Matt,

Another fan of yours here to say that it's great to see you back. The new version of Central Park loader theme is fantastic. Perfect blend of old and new.

New spacesynth/demoscene album from Dreamtime

Heyy,

I have released a new synth album as Dreamtime. It's called "Innerstellar Jam" and available at http://faroutmusic.bandcamp.com

Stylistically it's spacesynth/demoscene music. I hope my love for c64 & amiga music shows there too.

The album is free/donationware.

Space Debris (Spacesynth Remix) by Captain

Captain himself has remixed his demoscene classic Space Debris for the soundtrack of Rochard.

You can listen to the remix here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsapsOqc7UI

Really looking forward to the new IR cd, Martin. I like the teasers you have posted. Hearing Laserdance/spacesynth influences there with more oooomph

Re: MacBook Pro + Korg NanoKey + Cubase with plugins?

Original post is several months old but I'd suggest getting Akai LPK25 instead of Korg's NanoKey. Much better build quality for the same amount of money.

Jan Hammer! He's my synth guitar idol. Makes a very nice guitar impersonation.

You know, yesterday I checked when I made the last one.. it was 5 years ago. Sheesh. Time flies. Heh, I remember the BlueNine days when I was making remixes all the time.

I will most likely make one Amiga remix within a few months.

Dreamtime "Farout" (my first album)

Hello everyone, I'd like to let you know that I have recently finished a CD. I thought that people on this forum might be interested because the album is pure 80s synth. We call this music style "spacesynth" and major influences are Koto and Laserdance. I have made some Amiga and C64 remix...

Re: KORG nanoKEY Slim-Line USB Keyboard - soooo cute!

I've got nanoKontrol. It's really good for the price. You can carry it anywhere. I used in live performance controlling Ableton Live - worked great. Buttons get stuck sometimes though.

Re: Announcement: Instant Remedy / Immortal 4

This is great. Really looking forward to these cd's. I've been waiting for so long Martin/IR to release new remixes. Can't wait. I'm very excited that Lotus 2 and Project X will be included. Excellent choices :)

Re: Making Orchestra hits

I've already made a kind of Laserdance-ish version of Battle Squadron, without the orchestra hits though. Are you "Lauri" on Spacesynth.net too? Yep, that's me. I am one of the founders of the site. Been totally stuck into that style after finding Laserdance.sid while I was browsing HVSC ...

Re: Making Orchestra hits

Thanks :) I have collected quite a vast library of cheesy 80s synth and drum sounds. Then it turns into something like this usually.

Hoping to hear some space material from you, IR :)

Re: Weird Personalities

Eventhough I'm a Lizardking fan, I'm not really familiar with the original. Anyway, great remix, Makke. Good drive and mood in this one. I enjoy it a lot.
