Re: Overclocked remix

I was once a judge on ocremix and also had a remix rejected by them (some 13 years ago..). So I feel your pain but also have been able to look at it from the other side. Couple points: Don't let it get you down. Think of it like a record label: you submit your music and if they don't want to publish...

Re: What are you reading at the moment?

Shame on me, I still haven't read Snow Crash. Someday soon. I've been very slowly going thru Miller Puckette's The Theory and Technique of Electronic Music , which I have a hard-copy of but it is available for free online: http://msp.ucsd.edu/techniques.htm I'm going thru the exercises as well if an...

Well I, for one, wish my German was even half as good as most Germans' English.

Re: C64 remixing in 2010 infographic

Why don't we just call these charts and graphs anymore? Does giving them a hip-sounding name like 'infographics' make us seem cool or something?

That said, nice chart :)

I have an interest in developing music visualisation scripts/software as well. Tell me a bit about how you create these animations.

Re: What I've been doing lately

Looking for comments? Sure... 'Sonata': This reminds me a bit of Justice's Planisphere, having the digital-sounding harpsichord with other electronic sounds. Cool sound overall, and the plodding pace probably goes well with the game. 'Farewell': In my not so humble opinion, if you need stock sound e...

Re: Please remake this cool Amiga tune!!!!

Hmm... 100% original manner, no remix or stuff 100% remake I don't mean to discourage you, but don't be surprised if you can't find someone here willing to entertain your request. I can't speak for other remixers, but I do "remixes" because I want to do something creative with the original material....

Hey, aren't you the same Txai from OCR?

Anyway, cool spacesynth sound. I hear Koto's Dragon Legend, what else is referenced?
