Sounds like an interesting concept. And I'd say it'd definately increase the flow of creativity, especially as people are still finding creative ways to get around the C64's limitations.

Using your own PC as a server does work out cheaper than hosting, definately. Although one thing stops me from considering using my PC as a host, and that is the fact I'm on pay as you go electricity, which isn't a good thing if you want to be on 24/7! PS: Anyone going to Stansted can catch a bus for about 15-17 quid return from Stratford via National Express. The bus only takes 45 minutes. Other buses to Stansted from NE depart from Central London.
