Re: Radio (name removed) - Lost childs of Commodore - 24.1. 21:00 CET

This looks fantastic (the upcoming Plus/4 video) ---- I love the level of enthusiasm, (name removed)!

I recall looking wistfully at the Plus/4 games in a Sears catalog when I was a kid. Now it's something of a historical oddity.

Re: Voting tracks down

I'll give my perhaps controversial take as a C64 gamer. I will admit I tend to give good votes to songs that remind me of favorite games I've played. There, I said it. I never played Human Race or Comic Bakery or Flimbo's Quest back in the day, so while some tracks seem to be songs favored by remixe...

Re: Timbaland Court Case starts on Wednesday

In the end perhaps this has helped raise awareness of C64 SID music....

I'd love to have seen Stone Oakvalley there at the trial with his wacky setup explaining SID technology and authenticity to the judges. :hysterical:

Let me add to that --- when you expose your family to C64 remixes on a weekend drive and your wife calls you a geek...but enjoys them anyway.

Re: Introduce yourself here!

I'm Robinson Mason from over at the C64 Walkabout (c64walkabout.com). To give you an idea of my interest here, my blog site is mainly geared towards people who are interested in, but unfamiliar with or intimidated by C64 Emulation. I introduce games mainly, but also dip into discussion of SID remixe...

Dumb newb question about SlayRadio content vs. RKO

I love Slay Radio - really do - but I've tried a couple of requests that aren't included in the library. One comes to mind right now, and it's Trip to Pluto 2006 by Squaresaw. http://remix.kwed.org/files/RKOfiles/squaresaw%20-%20Trip%20to%20Pluto%202006.mp3 So my question is, why not on Slay Radio? ...

Re: Game music

I used to load Super Huey just to hear the intro music. I disliked the game itself.

4 Requests - Citadel, BtR, Necromancer, RoI

Hi all, Robinson here. Love the C64 remixes you guys make -- wish I had the skills to make the excellent tunes you do! I realize that a lot of hard work goes into the remixes and heartily thank you in advance if you choose to remix one! Here are a few I've long wanted to hear remixed - some are a bi...
