Did you know the guys in KLF wrote a book called "How to have a number 1 single?" Or that they also performed as "The Timelords" singing "Doctoring the Tardis" (a weird mix of the Dr Who theme)? Or that their track "F*ck the Millennium" didn't get any airplay...

"Kylie said harder" and "Kylie said trance" :-) I have them as MP2 (yes, that was before MP3 became popular), but if someone has a better quality, please help! As for 3AM Eternal, I have only the single-CD double and the vinyl record, I guess I don´t like it much ;-) http://w...

Well, you just told everyone that a) you put it on RKO because AmigaRemix wasn't around at the time and b) that your version is based on the Amiga one.

Sorry, but that fully qualifies for removal in my book.

Now wait until they burn all their money for fun... ;) There's not much else left, is there? I mean, they've aped the car, the logo, the track titles, and the latest album cover is clearly a "White Room" ripoff. And then there's the business of the intense sample lifting. Methinks it's a ...

The funniest thing is how Scooter seems out to ape The KLF in every possible way. Sure, I don't mind the odd tribute/homage - but their level of obsession is just plain silly.

The KLF rocked! :D Especially "Last Train to Trancentral" and "3AM Eternal." 8) Amen, brother! Last Train To Transcentral (Live from the Lost Continent) has to be one of the best tracks ever. Period. And don't even get me started on how much I love the "Chill Out" albu...

I wonder... what kind of tunes we'd be in for if Weird Al decided to join the Remix64 community? I'd say we're already there. Check out any of these: * PRESS PLAY ON TAPE - Ark Pandoras Divine Trousers * PRESS PLAY ON TAPE - Comic Bakery (Larger than Pop Boyband mix) * Trauma - Forbidden Forest * T...

Re: SID covers of Tangerine Dreams?

Does anybody know which TD tracks have been covered on the 64? It would be interesting to listen to those and compare them to the originals...I've got the latest HVSC but I thought I'd save some time and ask you people first, because I'm not (yet) familiar with the whole catalog of TD. If you have ...

it was pulled from RKO. It was judged to be a cover of the film soundtrack rather than a cover of the game. Actually, Detert later made a public post (on the old Remix64 board) saying that the cover had nothing to do with the C64 SID - it was a contract job[1] for Universal Records/PRO7. Not much j...

Robert Jordan's "Wheel of time"-series (Sagan om drakens återkomst) is my favourit fantasy series. It's really really long, but it's soooo damn good. My ex is heavily into Eddings, McAffrey and a lot of other fantasy stuff. Which meant that I read the back-covers of her collection at o...
