Independent scifi parody movie released (OT, geeky)

Something to download for the scifi inclined geeks among us: http://www-uk.starwreck.com In short, whereas we do remixes with our computers and release them for free at RKO or on CD, these guys did a full length scifi movie and distribute it in the web and on DVD. Just took them seven years to compl...

I've had a Japan-imported PSP for around six months and I've played about two times with it. It's awesome technology, but totally unpractical to use: it's too big to carry in a pocket, the battery doesn't last long enough to be useful and 90% of the games at the moment are total crap. As for the gee...

Re: Julian Gollop's at it again

Can't wait to have a go at it. I've been craving some form of handheld Laser Squad since I got my first Palm Pilot back in '97. =) Ooh, excellent! I've been a huge fan since the Lazer Squad times, trying to find similar games whenever I could. Some have been quite nice (I actually bought a PC prett...

RKO: The layout is a bit too wide imho, I think the "upload" should be separate from the other navigation items (a button maybe), the "in the last" dropdown doesn't work with Safari and the blue links are a bit lost in the background. Other than that it's pretty nice. C64audio: T...

Went up the Empire State Building when in NY and simply thought "yep, big building" and ofcourse "Get me fooking down from here" ;) Pretty much how I saw it, the best part was the queue (of three hours) with all different people from around the world complaining in different lan...

I think I'll wait for the Pink Floyd Reunion Tour to hit there until I go - all sports events are classified no-no ;)

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'd love to see it at some point.

What about the London Dungeon? I visited it once in folkschool ( don't ask  ). It displayed various grotesque methods of torture from the middle ages. I finished the tour by getting my head superimposed onto a schwarzzenegger torso. Hey, it looked cool back then; lost the poster tho. Tha...

It was good back in the days of SEGA Centre and ALIEN WAR, but like Dan says, its a bit shit nowadays - worth visiting for a go on the drop seat and the flight sim though. I went on that thinking "hey, its a puter game, no problem".... I almost puked when I came off it  so much for t...

Visit the Arcades and Flight Sim in the Troccadero Centre..... Do the London Eye too, and a small tip - If you go walking, stay on the parliament side of the Thames, the other side is mostly industrial and taxi's wont stop. Gotta surf to see what those are all about, though we're not much into trad...

London activity suggestions and meeting?

Hey, I booked a little trip to London for me and my girlfriend for next weekend (2nd to 4th of September) and I need some suggestions on suitable activities to do while in there. I tried checking for any concerts but it seems I can't find a single decent website to check for the activities. Yes, thi...

Yep, simply awful. I don't get it, why bother with "realistic" sounds in the first place if you don't pay attention to the implementation at all...

If it is it's pretty weird because I've seen that one on the shelves over here.

I just noticed I didn't receive that issue at all... weird.

Re: The End of Retro Gamer

it seems that livepublishing went into administration on monday 22nd august anyone else lost money mid subscription? Damn! I think I got something like 4-5 issues out of year's subscription. F*ck, I actually loved that little mag, the only one I kept after cancelling pretty much everything else. Su...
