Thought I'd like to share with you my video to accompany my remix of They Stole A Million.




As you can see it demonstrates the direction that I was heading for when I remixed this tune back in 2010.

Thanks for clarifying that Glen. I've uploaded my remix to Youtube and someone pointed out that Julian had in fact composed it. Going from the Info on HVSC I always thought it was Rob.

I noticed on HVSC that Rob Hubbard is credited to composing Thanatos yet on RKO Julian Breeze also get's a mention.

Who is the original composer? If Rob Hubbard has just ported the tune onto the C64 version then technically shouldn't Julian now get the credit that he deserves?

I know it's a reply to a really old thread but I'm in the process of remixing Wally's Total Eclipse been chipping away at it since May 2014. I have the instruments and the ideas, I'm just transcribing the music but it's slow going as I have other projects that keep cropping up. Hopefully it will see...

I'm surprised that the musicians wanted to do it. To them they must have felt it a all a little geeky and slightly belittling to cover a 30 year old 8-bit tune compared to playing concerto's by the classic composers. It really does show that gaming music is finally being taken more seriously.
