....TAKE the one by this dude called Mr DETERT  It's really weird, I did not realize it was you until I checked your website just 1 minute ago, and suddenly things fell into place. See, you didn't mention anything else than you were merely *friends* with Mike, not that you actually wrote the g...

What to do next?

I'm still wondering what to remix next? Did the Arkanoid remix, and the Dutch Breeze/Robocop 3 remix and I started a thread on Lemon64 regarding this subject but I might as well do it here instead. Definite candidates so far are: ·Magic Disk Issue 09/90 (Thomas Detert) ·Green Beret (Main theme...

Thanks merman. It's actually just one tune, Robocop 3 which also appeared in the Dutch Breeze demo, and not two different tunes. The underlying synth theme is an original addition of mine. Nice pic tom, have you noticed how 3/4 are rather well-fed, or as Cartman would say, "I'm just big-boned&q...

Well the DANCE SCENE is still there but sales are already down the drain  a DANCE SINGLE is now more a PROMOTION TOOL rather than something to earn money with! Anyway... a warm welcome to remix64.com cheers TOM::::.. Thanks! Germany is one of the few markets where you actually can make some mo...

I wouldn't actually classify the Dutch Breeze/Robocop3 remix as dance, more as "synth electro", though it's almost dance I suppose. I didn't mean it was dance I just meant that general elctro area :) Heh, it's typical producer-like to be all fuzzy about the genre names, I knew what you me...

I think it's an interesting combination SID-fan & Rock-fan! SID-fan & Electronic Music-fan is more obvious. "Obvious" doesn't always make the most interesting people though. Actually I'm in to just about all sorts of music, some more than others. I mostly listen to metal though......

Did you know that my friend Anders Øland (from Barcode Brothers) is also totally into C64? He was actually the first one to notice the similarities between "This is how we Party" and Dan Dare III. Did not know that, no... But cool :D Link to your stuff? Maybe I should just check out Kw...

Yeah absolutely right

I'm personally just bored to death with dance music, so I'm having a break producing some rock music right now (which is my original background, believe it or not!) Playing drums in a hard core rock band before switching to bubble gum pop

Hej Cool to see another Dane in here keeping it real. 8) Cheers Hejsa... Din big shot producer ;) Det er altid godt med flere danskere her... Jo flere, jo større chance for total overtagelse af stedet... Først Remix64, siden verden!!! :D To all you non-danes the above means: There are some ve...

Haha  I'm just waiting for the right moment, the dance scene is slightly dead though... especially in Denmark.

I'm thinking more of using a C64 theme in an original song rather than actually a cover.

You should do a proper commercial C64 cover... one of Rob's, Ben's, Martin's or Fred's perhaps :) Then they could go to Hawaii, and we could have some remix fun with record company mechanicals... :) Chris Yeah, as you very well know the mechanicals is where it's at! The SOAP stuff made £500.000 ...
