Some links to RKO are not working since the site move

For example: https://www.remix64.com/track/mahoney/armageddon-man-vocal-jazz-feat-karin-oejehagen/ The play button is inoperational. Direct link to MP3 still seems to work, though: https://remix.kwed.org/download.php/1445/Mahoney%20-%20Armageddon%20Man%20%28Vocal%20Jazz%20feat.%20Karin%20Ojehagen%29...

Re: Prague recording sessions.

Looks like Slaygon's YT stream was different from Damian's recording.

In that case, thank you, Damian, for recording it all in HD!!!

PS: Contact lenses on a webcam? Wow... :confusion:

Re: Prague recording sessions.

This is what I wrote in a YouTube comment to one of the videos: I find it really heartwarming to see this. The ultimate fulfillment of my childhood dreams: elevating the passion of my life - SID music - to the worthy heights of classical masterpieces, which is where they truly belong. And maybe now ...

Re: Arpeggios in Sids

So I finally got around to writing a tool for this. Basically it pushes the sid file through a simple 6502 emulator and captures the frequency registers on every frame. This is to help me figure out fast changes, portamento and arpeggios for remixes. Bonus points awarded if you can identify the SID...

Pete, this remix is so good, it must've been very good for your elf-esteem.

Re: WIP Ocean Loader 3

Buzzard, Admittedly, I am no sound engineer, either, so all I can give you is an enthusiast fan's personal opinion, but before I get into that, let me tell you what I think of your arrangement, because that may fix some of your mixing issues, too. I think the original's bass line in your remix is pl...

Re: New Release - Firelord Symphonic - (a nod to Glyn)

It is actually astonishing to me that you managed to "re-enact" Glyn's original arrangement just by ear. I would've thought you contacted Glyn for his original project file and maybe got some MIDI sequences off of him... I guess not! And I really like your book analogy, too. :thumb...

Re: New Release - Firelord Symphonic - (a nod to Glyn)

Whoo, boy, this is a tough one, Peter! On one hand, the technical achievements of this remix (...of a remix :-) ) are undeniable. The instrumentation is as good as one can get without hiring a real orchestra in Prague (right, Chris? ;-) ). To me the absolute highlight of this arrangement are the new...

Re: New Release - The Great Bath

Very nicely done! Your orchestration is dynamic and emotional - I really enjoy it!

This is also one of my favorite Turrican II tracks...

PS: Have you heard the "official" orchestrated version, yet? It's just absolutely superb: https://chrishuelsbeck.bandcamp.com/tra ... eat-bath-5

Re: New Release - Tai-Pan...

You just ruined whatever plans I had for this evening, because instead I just keep listening to this remix over and over again. :D :worship: I'm especially fond of the second part of it that focuses on subtune #2. I'll be honest, on first listen the arrangement sounded a bit strange to me, but I qui...

Shadowfire: very cool prog-rock remix! I really enjoy it!
