The Remix64 Crazy Golf competition
Yesterday saw the first ever Remix64 Crazy Golf competition at Bowness-on-Windermere, between the following particpants: Jan Lund Thomsen (Kwed) Warren Pilkington (Waz) Neil Carr (Tas) Dan Gillgrass Much fun was had, not least if you took 13 shots on one hole, right Dan? ;) The scores were as follow...

Re: Video about the happening
If there ever will be a next similar meeting, ask machinae supremacy to play there. They've made a few really good remixes of old c64 tunes :) The BITLive organisers already did back in 2002, and Machinae kicked ass at BITLive 3 (London, June 2002). They included Giana Sisters in their set. Having ...

Re: BITLive Suggested Choons for play
There's also "Monoton und Minimal (C64 version)" from Welle:Erdball, which I guess you either love or hate. :) Hate, because unfortunately the band use an 8580 SID, not a 6581 (This has been confirmed from one of the Welle: Erdball folk - thanks to Stephan Schmid for finding that one out)

BITLive Suggested Choons for play
You might want to have these as background tunes, or in between bands during the gig: K-Pist: "C64" Essential stuff. A great little homage to 8-bit by this Swedish band, especially as it mentions the 64, a Tac-2 stick and even at the end has a little bit of 8-bit choon which sounds [i]very...

Re: +4 stuff
where do you live waz? Manchester. So you'd have to post anything to me. However you might be best contacting Lando of Plus/4 world about Tomcat and Taskforce (if you haven't done so already) as he runs a great C16/Plus 4 site and has images of all the games. I'm sure he'd like those two of yours! ...

Club DNA (the venue for the first Back in Time Live)
I don't know if any of you guys know this, but I was flicking through the channels on the telly here the other night, and on f:tn was this thing about Spearmint Rhino gentleman's clubs (ie: strip joints) Anyway, as I was flicking through I noticed a very familiar skybar, so I checked for a couple of...

You been watching Indoor League by any chance, Paul? ;) Seriously, I wouldn't have a BITLive in Blackpool personally. The beach is not good for playing football on for a start, and it get...

Re: Request
The cost of the train journey is more expensive so that's out. Ah, that's true. There's no direct route from Grimsby to Brighton and no cheap discounted train fares (unlike say, Manchester-London: I'm going first class on Midland Mainline for £20 return next month!!) You'd be looking at 5 hours ...

a couple of hotels are tried would not allow an all male party to stay. The reason for that is the same as Blackpool - they don't allow single sex group bookings because both venues are popular for hen/stag parties, you see, and the last thing the hotel wants is a bunch of 20 drunken souls at 3am c...

However, that was where the inspiration came from. It's in STIL, too. That's right. Plus, the second section of the title theme of Delta is actually 100% Rob's original work (hence the title tune inspiration from Koyaanisqatsi is only to 0:52). The in-game tune is inspired not just by On The Run, b...

Accomodation Information
Although there's a Premier Lodge within walking distance of the train station and the venue, it's already fully booked for the event, unfortunately. It would have been a good choice!
