Travelodges are quite invaluable at times... I swear by them myself. This is the first time I've attended a C64 event and not had to worry about booking a place to stay... nor do I have to worry about an unfamilar transport system >_>

I'm kinda glad that down the line, I'll be able to get a free copy of Vista through my university, but I'm waiting about a year from release, so all the bugs are fixed before trying it. Thinking of installing XP 64 bit at some point, mind.

This event is like 10 miles from me... score! Shame that it's on over Glastonbury, but this is something that doesn't happen all that often, so in my eyes it makes it worth going to!
