Re: The football thread

Kinda annoyed after the Brann - Everton match. Everton won 2-0 but that's really not reflecting the game. In first half Brann was the better team. In second half Everton was a notch better. In my opinion we should have got a freekick right before the first goal, but that one is OK, I can understand ...

Re: The football thread

Not long till Brann - Everton in the UEFA cup now, only five days to go. Everton big favourites, but if we can get our counterattack working as good as it did last season, we might have a little chance. I guess our biggest disadvantage is that we are in the middle of pre-season, while Everton are pl...

Re: Timbaaaaaaaaaa!

Moral has a way to go down the drain when there's money involved. Since it's official with Janne, is there an official amount of money as well? Would be interesting to know how much this has cost Timbaland.

Re: STUPID FU*^ING DELL COMPUTERS!!!

Well, whatever you do, do not buy Acer. Acer has got to be the worst shit I've ever laid my hands on. We ordered three 24" LCD monitors here at work. Each and every one of them had to be returned two times. The third time we got our money back. My wife has got an Acer laptop. Every now and then...

Re: Deek cover

Ha! Now I remember which song the drums were reminding me of: Paula Abdul - Straight up... though a little slow version of it. Just starting humming... dum di da... dum di da... dum dum da dida :D

Pearls

A little remix I'm working on of one of my own SIDs. The lead instrument sucks and the drums are a bit boring. Might be a few parts that'll sound out of tune, will have to work on that. Any ideas for improvements are more than welcome. The SID: http://www.c64.org/HVSC/MUSICIANS/B/Blues_Muz/Pearls.si...

Re: Deek cover

This is actually one of my all time favourite SIDs, just too bad it's so short. Kinda original twist on this remix, but maybe a bit too staccato for my taste, but still, I like it. I guess it just takes a little time to get used to. By the way, the beginning, when the drums starts, it really reminds...

Re: HD Crash on Production PC.

Raid is probably the way to go, yes. And of course you could also make a cheap backup solution. Seems like most external harddrives (at least the three ones I got) comes with one-click backup software. These drives cost appx. nothing these days.

Re: HD Crash on Production PC.

That sucks. Been using Seagate Barracudas for as long as I can remember and never had any problems with them. Got a Maxtor for free, and after a year or so... *crash*

It really can't get any worse than a harddrive crash. That would in case have to be that the house burnt down at the same time.

Ordinary - final version

Gotta get rid of some stuff from my to-do-list, so I just had to make an end to this tune. I don't think I'm gonna upload it to RKO as I doubt it will go through. A little too much illegal use of samples (hi Timbaland!). Anyways, this is a remix of one of my own SIDs, "Ordinary" (http://ww...

And now there's an english version coming from Basshunter. The video is not ready yet, but The Sun has got their hands on a preview: http://thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/music/article486448.ece" target="_blank - with Norwegian Aylar Lie as the brunette (she looked better before she too...

Re: Basshunter

We've had our share of Basshunter here in Norway too, and I have to admit I really hate the guy. His music really really sucks * 1000. And when you think a song sucks * 1000 it is not very fun to hear it 100 times a day on the radio. Damn swedes :)

Re: Should C64Audio.com try the "Radiohead" model?

Much sensible from Tonka there. And the page title should also correspond with the main heading (<h1>). Using h1-h6 is an important factor in making it searchengine friendly. I.e. <span class="heading"> is not a good way to make headers. <title>I love C64 music</title> ... <h1>I love C64 m...

Re: Should C64Audio.com try the "Radiohead" model?

Sure, could probably make a little list of suggestions, or tips on how to recode it if you want. Will take some time though, but I'll get back to you when I got something (if you want it that is).
