Re: PLAY EXPO 2012-13TH-14TH OCT, MANCHESTER(REPLAY EXPO)
Event City is close to the Trafford Centre, a few miles outside Manchester city centre. There's a regular bus service every 10-15 minutes from Manchester City Centre, which is the 250 (stops at all stops) and X50 (limited stops) and the last bus back is at 0010, so if there's an evening event on, yo...

Re: Selling some of my C64 games
Turns out it's your Microrhythm I'm bidding on. Glad you won it and it got to you safe and sound. Of course I ripped the example tunes in each of the four modules for HVSC before I sold it though! I've put some more up now - only a day and a half left if you want to snag a bargain or two: http://ww...

CMU - Space Cabaret
Those of you who remembered the sadly missed Richard Joseph will know that way back in the 1970s, years before he started composing Commodore tunes, that he was in the progressive rock band CMU, and at the time I wrote an article about the album in question: http://www.remix64.com/the_secret_history...

Re: Bmx-kids Work in progress
Like the initial sketch idea of this. The drums are definitely welcome as it adds that kind of skiffle drum feel that you'd need to bring it across. The piano is nice, but might need a longer sustain in parts just so it's audible as one of the main leads. The original tune is quite repetitive though...

Re: Retrograde remixes
Track #2 was the loading theme, #3 is the title music. Indeed it is, of course. I actually quite like some of the end of level themes too, might be worth incorporating into a longer remix somehow. Especially #11 and #15, I just really like those. And whilst we're on the subject of Steve Rowlands, s...

Re: Selling some of my C64 games
I've put some more up for grabs now if anyone's interested:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/wazzaw/m.html
Btw, Graphic Editor is the same utility that was used by John and Steve Rowlands - so might be worth a snag!

Re: Selling some of my C64 games
Best of luck unloading that Output 64 CD, squire. Hopefully there's a completist out there who'll take it off your hands. :) Possibly, but we'll see what happens. I've just added another 20 games - and one utility, Ubik's Musik - complete with the original instruction manual on miniscule font. I've...

Selling some of my C64 games
Hi folks, Well it's time for a bit of a clearout, and so I'm selling a fair few of my older C64 games on eBay, mainly ones that I don't play but also some I have duplicates of or not enough room in the house for! There'll be some nice titles along the way, along with the Mastertronic 3 packs from Wo...

Re: 8 Bit Reznor
Not just on the sampler, either, but especially on the Oscar winning soundtrack album (felt rather good writing that, well done Trent and Atticus!) Tracks off the soundtrack that have C64-like instruments in them: 2 - In Motion (especially around 3:20 onwards to end with arpeggios) 6 - Painted Sun I...

Re: Looking for USB-HID <> "Atari joystick" adapter
Jan,
I think something like this would be what you want:
http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/atari2usb/
It supports 9-pin controllers and also includes support for Megadrive as well!
Might be worth a go?

Even Manchester's been hit with the snow around the UK:

Megadeth - Sudden Death Absolutely epic - and well worth playing through Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock to unlock it as well. It just has plenty of epic riffs and a thunderous bass line and you can understand just why Dave Mustaine spent a fair bit of time really getting it right. Not to mention the ...

Good stuff that, Makke It reminds me of the Mitchell and Webb "Sky Sports" sketch on their show.
I think the comedian Lenny Henry has it spot on about Wrongopedia, though. Check around 4:45:
