Re: Film Quiz

Although the only movie that fits now is "Dumb & Dumber",
here's something different:

Re: Any new CDs in the works?

To go slightly back ontopic: There's still a DVD of the 6581 gig@Bitlive 2008 Stockholm in the making. We're struggling with some technical difficulties though and we're not 100% sure if we're able to do a commercial release soon but we're working on this. Aiming for a pro look and sound.

Re: KORG nanoKEY Slim-Line USB Keyboard - soooo cute!

I've recently ordered that controller on the top right - the Nanocontrol. It seems to have quite astonishing programming features for it's size/price.
Still waiting for it to arrive though.

Re: Current SID "trackers"

Why was Galway cheered for his fart-esque digi drums in the 80? Because doing SIDs is also about breaking the limits, and this is a tremendous push over the accepted limits that existed until now. Good thing about this new technology is that there's still 2 SID channels left, so it's up to the arti...

Re: Current SID "trackers"

I think here it's straight coming down to what's it all about. Using samples might sound more advanced technology-wise but they won't ever beat the expression you can program into the SID. That's what makes it special and why it can inspire people even today - and not only nostalgia geeks. Well, mos...

Re: Finally there's someone Reyn Ouwehand can learn from..

Didnt impress me at all, and I'm actually turned off by the fact that the first place winner is someone with a Pro studio in their basement. You might be right but that's a different story. I don't care if he's a winner of something or not, I'm just impressed by his skills. I like to see the averag...

Finally there's someone Reyn Ouwehand can learn from..

Hey Reyn, no offense! :) You're still my goosebumps hero! :) http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=guitarrigcontest&utm_source=guitarrigcontest&utm_medium=Newsletter&utm_campaign=NL814_grhero_contestwinner Just watch the contest winner: Basically he does the same like Reyn but I...

Re: New Computer room/studio pic :D

Well, it's not about building a booth. I have a small room that I like to keep silent :) Not only for my ultra-sensitive mic (I'm getting one of those mic diffusor/damper things too), but it is my preference - computer noise is just ... unneccesary. Also, not a bunch of cables and stuff under the t...

Re: New Computer room/studio pic :D

I'm building a studio of sorts too. No computers in my room tho, I'll just saw off a corner of the door and pull extension cable for screen, keyboard and some USB stuff through it. We used to do that in our old studios, back in the days when computers, HDs and stuff were LOUD. Nowadays it's much ea...

Re: Great moments in games

I guess I had a similar first LAN experience: Marathon 2: Durandal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marathon_2:_Durandal) It was 1996 when I met with like 4 friends in the studio, everyone sitting in front of one of those old Macs (from Quadra 650 to PowerPC 7100) screaming and yelling when we chased e...

Hey Infamous, please finish that Marble Madness track!
It's one of the best tracks you ever made IMO.
