What does this music draw inspiration from?

Hello,

Sorry if this might sound a bit off-topic but I think this place is the only one where I could get help to identify music from a C64 game.

Brennan is credited for The Hobbit's game music. However one can reckon he took much inspiration from classical music. At least, the theme from the beginning owes much to Verdi's Aida - The Air of the trumpets (listen to an excerpt here).

So, I am wondering whether another theme from the game also draws inspiration from classical music. It is the music played when Bilbo encounters the trolls (listen here).

Any idea?

Thank you in advance.

I think you would have more luck asking classical music connoisseurs than SID-connoisseurs.

Maybe try here? -> https://www.reddit.com/r/classicalmusic/

Did you check the SID Tune Information List/STIL? Both Verdi's Aida (for subtune 2) and The Playmates "Beep beep" are mentioned there. The second being the track that is played when Bill encounters the trolls.
