What's about a Ghouls'n'Ghosts Mix ??

Post by Monty Mole »

I think it's really afraid that the most Sid-Mixes choiced on the quality of the game.

There are much games who was bad but hat a absolutely great soundtrack.
Ghouls'n'Ghosts (C64) was really not one of the best games (I think I was the only one who played this game to the end) but the soundtrack was by my meaning one of the best which released on the C64.

The same by Dragon's Lair 2.
Great sounds by Rob Hubbard but no good remix of the sound of this game and the sound was really great.

Bionic Commando, Strider, Monty on the run, Double Dragon, Flying Shark... to call one of them which are funny but get no one remix 'cause the games are no really classics but the musik are great.

Slowly gets boring to hear ever the same mixes from Last Ninja, Parallax or over games which would mixes to often.

Greetings an sorry for my bad english

To let out a little secret: Ghouls n' Ghosts is included in my upcoming(probably not on RKO) spooky sid-megamix, it will feature rain and thunder and "sad" pianos if you like that ;)
By the way, welcome to the new boards, man! :)

Hey, such a heartly (hope this word ist right, don't know the englich word for "herzlich") greeting for beginner is not so often in Foren (Forums ??)

Jep, a Ghoul'n'Ghosts Mix :D .Perfekt.
It's one of my favorite sid-songs on the good old C64, specially Lev4 (the ice-cave)

Is it the Introsound or a mix of all sounds together ??

I don't know that the C64 Szene is so activ (Yuppieee!! I'm not alone)

Greeting

Actually, I'm also working on a Ghouls'n'Ghosts remix. In fact, I'm remixing all tunes in the game... It might take a while though :)

But I think it's a great idea, the more the merrier :)

Monty on the Run

Are you sure you mean "Monty on the Run"? It's been remixed loads of times... OK, mostly by Boz and me, but still... :)

There are quite many songs (and quite many good songs) in Ghouls n' Ghosts so I'll try to mix them all in this very part of my spooky megamix. This megamix includes tunes as Pandoras Box by David Whittaker and Forbidden Forest by Paul Norman and will be divided in parts by composer(I.E. the first part may be Pandoras Box, then I might take Ghouls n' Ghosts as the second part, et.c. et.c...)

Looking forward to Larsecs GnG-remix, good luck! :)

Maybe you should probably support us and buy a CD? Back in Time 1 (with Monty 97) is quite cheap at the moment, and the BIT 3 CD-ROM is even cheaper, and has a newer version. If you look hard enough, there's also a version from Rickie Blaikie on c64audio.com/main.htm, and also one from Putzi. I forgot about that one.

Or...

... or you could go to our minisite at http://c64audio.valuehost.co.uk/edge where we've made available the full-length Karma64 version of Monty on the Run free of charge to illustrate the genius of Rob Hubbard (and in the hope that it will provoke a CD sale or two).

Postage charges

Post by Chris Abbott »

Ironically it may be cheaper to send from England to Germany than from Germany to Germany!

A CD's postage cost is generally about £1.50 on the price of the CD, and no more than £2 for one CD. This compares very well to Amazon.co.uk sending to the UK!

Try processing an order through the shop, and when asked for your personal details, fill in nothing and select "Germany" from the country list.
You should then find out what the postage is. It varies depending on what you order, and is based on the actual UK postage costs.

Monty
yep, monty you're right !...but that's a factor you can't affect.

for example four from five sidtunes i covered are covered for the first time... :D ...but i cover these tune only 'cause i like them and not 'cause they are rare, but it's a nice spin-off !!! :P

btw. i think that's the most remixers don't care if a tune is covered or
not, they cover them with the same reasons as i (see above...)

cheers 2Klang
