Hehe, that's one big load of a spam post from him.
Perhaps, however, the first link to the mp3 had expired. I hope someone can listen to it and can make a remix.

thank you

I deleted jorgea on the strength of his spam post. Sure, he seemed to be actually reading the threads he was posting in, but that's no excuse for letting him spam.

babsimov, I see you're already hoping to find a remix of the Midwinter II title music for a very long time!

Are you aware that a remix of this music was made back in 1992 already? It is included on the French video game music album "Toutes les musiques de l'émission Micro Kid's". The CD should be easily obtainable from the Amazon marketplace or eBay. See here for some pointers: http://www.amiga-stuff.com/music/toutes ... -kids.html

ronaldvd, i buy the CD from Amazon. My opinion about the remix of Midwinter II. I personally do not find it quite faithful to the original theme specialy about the samples (to acute). It's a good quality work, but not to my taste. Sorry.

So, i hope someone here make a remix someday :)

I think i'll try to do a cover song from this tune. Some crushing modern rock metal style.

Hi 7oli, thanx for your reply.

The english is not my native language, so i don't totaly understand what music style you talk about (sorry).

I like a remix that sound as faithfull as possible to the original. One of the artist i like for his faithfull remix is Gibbs. His work on "Vixen Thru Corinne's Eye" is great, "Super Hang On the winning run", "Test drive 2 relax and clip your belt" or "Cannon Fodder of blood and honor" are also some great remix. These are some example of what i mean to "sound as faifhfull as possible to the original".

Other example i like :

Gigatron on Bubble Bobble title is great to.
Daxx have some great remix (shadow of the beast, odyssey, Yo Afriqua, Wasteland and some others)
Pirx on Battle Squadron, Cannon Fodder.
XxDUSTYxX (Echoing, Jim Power Level 1 (very good))

But i'm open to your style, maybe it's exactly what i'm looking for, maybe not, we see. So, if you have time, give it a try :)

With a bit of luck the original composer, Dave Lowe, may actually make a new version of this music! He is currently running a KickStarter project for a CD with remade versions of his Amiga / C64 / Atari game music.
Check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/27 ... aming-musi

(edit 2015-03-21: update link to rebooted project page)
