Midwinter II

Post by babsimov »

Hi

I search on the forum and don't find any suggestion for the Amiga game Midwinter II musics.

So i ask if someone want to do it, specially the intro music.

The Amiga mod can be found here :

It was an ambitious game... was it a commercial success ?
Can't remember the music and I have that game standing on my shelf in its original glory... shame on me.

I download what I think is the music, but I can't play the file in any of the players that I have.

dl.midinwter_2 is the file. I tried XMPLAY no luck.

Looking at the header of the file in a hex editor shows.

Midwinter II 'Flames Of Freedom' Dave Lowe (c) 1991 by Maelstrom Games/MicroProse
Ripped and adapted by Don Adan/Wanted Team.

Doesnt look like the typical MOD file to me.

Yes, dl file is not common. If i remenber correctly, the only mod player able to play it is eagleplayer on Amiga with the dl file format added.
