Depeche Mode - But Not Tonight (Instrumental)

Post by Analog-X64 »

Here is a W.I.P of something I've been working on. I didn't choose the song, it chose me :)

Here is how my instrumental version + the original vocals sound like. I dont have an acapella, I just had to do so some tricks to burry the instrumentation on the original one.

When that happens to me I just look at pictures of Thing on a Spring until the feeling goes away :)
Edit: I don't actually know the song
Edit 2: I've only just realised that what Makke has been sounding like all these years is the pop group "Blancmange"! *kicks self*
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children?

It was used in the 80's movie "Earth Girls are easy" and the music video for it, had footage from the movie.

Depeche Mode.. Ahhhhh Top of the Pops and weird er... ( cough ).. live acts.. I remember 'People are people' playing for the first time on that, damn we're getting old dude.. They really did know their basslines eh?

This one rings a bell, sounds familiar but cant say I've ever heard it enough to put a name to it.. Sounds nice though, good job buddy!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I've updated the original post with my instrumental version + the original vocals to give you and idea how the original sounds like.

Very cool, I hope you manage to get your hands on a real acapella version, or find ways to beef up the vocals a little more.
